Knowing that my video positively impacts viewers drives me further toward my dream to become a professional director and producer.  I enjoy conveying messages through short films, public service announcements, commercials and the like. 

The goal for my Safety Scholars video was to reach young drivers who, like many of my friends, drive distracted and think nothing of it.  I aimed to create a video that built up toward a powerful ending to drive home the consequences of text messaging behind the wheel and other dangerous driving behaviors.

I am a junior Mass Communications major at the University of South Florida, and a Tampa native.  It is an honor to have my entry made into an official Bridgestone commercial!
