2009 SafetyScholars.com 3rd Place Winner Christopher Baugh

When I first heard about the Safety Scholars Video Contest, I thought it would make sense to combine the things I love most: music, acting and really bad dance moves.  Needless to say, all are abundant throughout my video, but my true intention was to effectively convey automotive safety information without it having to seem like a chore.

Despite the film’s humorous tone, I aimed to address issues I genuinely care about – especially the foolishness of drunk driving and people who fail to put their turn signal on while merging.  I look forward to continuing these interests in the fall, when I leave my hometown of Richmond, Virginia and face the infamous New York winters at Syracuse University.
