Martin Scoresafety Video Tips
Hey everyone, check here once a week or so for tips from me (a Safety Scholars veteran) about making your video. You can also check out my Facebook and MySpace pages.DEADLINE EXTENDED
Due to overwhelming response from young drivers, we’ve extended our deadline! Entries are now being accepted until June 24 at 11:59 p.m. EST. You still have time – grab your camera and make a video!
2008 Winners
Four Grand Prize winners were selected from more than 600 videos during the 2008 Safety Scholars contest. The best of the best were determined by online voting by the general public. Sarah Wilson from Tampa took first place, with Ryan Massey from Laguna Niguel, CA in second, Danny Belkin from Rockville, MD in third and Angela Roscioli from Bethlehem Township, PA winning the Critics’ Choice prize. Click here to see their videos, plus ones from the other finalists.
New and Improved
Change is good, right? As great as the Safety Scholars video contest already was, we’ve made it even better. This year, you have your choice of two topics: automotive safety or automotive environmentalism. The videos we’ve seen in the past about safe driving have been so creative and well-done, we can’t wait to see what you can do with the subject of automotive environmentalism…if automotive environmentalism happens to be your thing. Bridgestone is committed to being a good corporate citizen, and has an impressive roster of environmental programs as part of its “One Team, One Planet” global initiative. Click here to learn more
